Overview of Anti-Racist Trainings (ART)
To support the Equity and Anti-Racist work of an organization, SoC can facilitate anti-racist trainings for staff, board, committee members, and collaborators engaged with the various levels of Social Change Work. Our trainings are rooted in a rich history of equity work, coming from the lineage of training developed by Rev. C.T. Vivian and Ann Braden in collaboration with communities furthest from justice during the Civil Rights Era. This lineage is a testament to our commitment to examining the root causes of inequities and understanding racism in its institutional, structural, and personal forms.

Develop a Racial Equity Analysis
Our highly-skilled team offers one-day, multi-day and extended commitment programming options. Curriculum topics include: implicit bias awareness, the role of being a white accomplice in this work, and racial equity education. We offer client consultations to accommodate special programming requests.

Meeting Facilitation
Listen to Understand
It can be hard to keep meetings on track, particularly when implicit or explicit conflict is present. Using the Circle Meeting approach, we offer techniques that foster an environment for impartial meetings, focus on accomplishing goals, and lead to tangible outcomes. We assist with holding space for productive and impartial meetings, spanning from small-group interventions to large-group discussions. The prioritized focus rests on accomplishing goals and tasks within an agreed upon time frame to ensure desired outcomes and results. Racial Equity is always centered within our practices and techniques.
