MICHELLE WRIGHT
Mìchelle is a licensed clinical mental health counselor – associate with a background in health equity, community education, and public health systems. Throughout her career she has worked in a variety of settings, including health care, local government, non-profit and behavioral health services. Her earliest research began with exploring the relationship between chronic illness and brain health, leading to a focus on health disparities and systemic inequities. She has co-facilitated workshops on trauma-informed care, organizational wellness, community engagement, and structural racism. Additionally, she has co-developed workshops including racial equity fundamentals and rebuilding faith communities. Mìchelle currently serves as the Director of Restorative Practices at Community Organizing for Racial Equity (CORE).
